Why We Exist

/ The Problem

The rise of single-track music libraries and “unlimited music plans” has created a landscape that doesn’t champion original scores for projects with smaller budgets. The lack of musical identity and the inability to edit that music severely limits directors’ and editors’ ability to support the individual story they are telling. Edit/Score was created as a solution to this problem.

/ The Solution

Edit/Score albums were written with musical identity in mind, consisting of tracks with similar themes, chord progressions, instrument groups, and consistent production throughout.

Each album is delivered with every stem that makes up the original tracks. These stems give you the ability to create alternate versions, as well as imagine completely new pieces of music that fit your story’s musical identity. This level of creative control allows you to edit the score any way you see fit.

While original scores will always be the gold standard to support stories, Edit/Score offers an affordable and artistic approach to creating the score you need.
